Linking eight major resort properties and the Convention Center, the Las Vegas monorail project is the first modern public transportation system in the world that is totally funded by the private sector. Financing was raised through non-recourse revenue bonds tied to the farebox.
The futuristic and fully automated M-VI Monorail vehicles will move passengers quickly and comfortably through the heart of Las Vegas' famous resort corridor.
Bombardier, as the lead member of the Las Vegas Monorail Team, is providing all the electrical and mechanical subsystems for the driverless System, and up to 15 years of operations and maintenance services.
