Disney launches its Year of a Million Dreams celebration on October 1 with new attractions and live entertainment, as well as the "Disney Dreams Giveaway" promotion.

Magic Kingdom>> Tomorrowland>> Monsters, Inc.:
April 2, Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor opened where it replaced the Circle-Vision attraction The Timekeeper. The main theater is equipped with 458 seats and utilizes digital puppetry technology similar to Epcot's voice-directed Turtle Talk with Crush.

Magic Kingdom>> Night of Joy:
Celebrates its 25th year in the Magic Kingdom.

Epcot>> Future World>> Spaceship Earth:
Huge Mickey Mouse arm and wand are taken down.

Animal Kingdom>> Dinoland U.S.A.>> Theater in the Wild:
The forty-minute show (which is performed five times daily) opened on January 2, 2007. Several musical numbers took direct inspiration from lines in the film, including "(In The) Big Blue World," "Fish Are Friends, Not Food," "Just Keep Swimming," and "Go With the Flow." In January 2007, a New York studio recording of the show was released on iTunes, with Lopez and Anderson-Lopez providing the voices for Marlin and Dory, respectively. Avenue Q star Stephanie D'Abruzzo also appeared on the recording, as Sheldon/Deb.

Effective June 1, all Walt Disney World resorts are now 100% non-smoking

Resorts>> Disney's Contemporary:
The North Wing Garden Wing was demolished between January 31, 2007 and April 6, 2007. Construction on the new building continued through 2007, with Disney never making an official announcement as to what was actually being built.
