  Walt Disney World Resort - February 2003, Walt Disney World Resort celebrated the distribution of the 100 millionth FASTPASS ticket, the revolutionary, skip-the-line innovation that has changed the way people visit theme parks. Globally Disney's FASTPASS is offered on 64 attractions at 10 Disney theme parks on three continents. Total FASTPASS tickets distributed worldwide to date tally in excess of 215 million.

Walt Disney World Resort - On March 24, 2003, Disney and Bank one partner for the Disney Visa. The Visa card is Disney's first co-branded credit card, and offers a wide variety of rewards including Disney merchandise, theme park tickets, hotel rooms and vacations at Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort and Disney Cruise Line. This partnership took the place of the Magic Kingdom Club.

Walt Disney World Resort - The Disney Golf Classic changes its name to the FUNAI Classic.

Walt Disney World Resort - Phase 1 of the Pop Century Resort opens.

EPCOT, Future World - Walt Disney Parks and Resorts unveils its latest attraction, Mission: SPACE, located in Epcot at the Walt Disney World Resort. Presented by HP, Mission: SPACE is a high intensity, thrill attraction that simulates a mission out of the galaxy. The official opening date was October 9, 2003.

Animal Kingdom: Dinoland U.S.A. - Primeval Whirl is a colorful dual track roller coaster, an updated version of the "Wild Mouse" rides of years past. Guests ride in four passenger vehicles. Currently the ride is having a soft opening with the official opening date set for March 31.

Magic Kingdom: Liberty Square - Diamond Horseshoe Saloon Revue closes and is replaced by Goofy’s Country Dancin’ Jamboree.

Magic Kingdom: Tomorrowland - ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter closes.

Epcot: Future World - Mission: SPACE, a state-of-the-art thrill ride, opens at the site of the former Horizons attraction.

Magic Kingdom: Fantasyland - Mickey’s PhilharMagic, a 3-D “symfunny” of fun, opens.

Magic Kingdom - The Wishes Nighttime Spectacular makes its debut.
