as a 1300 room premium resort, guests will be able to view the wildlife on
an African savannah from their balconies. Opens on April 16, 2001

- The Magic Carpets of Aladdin soared to life on May 23, 2001 - Filled with
the wonders of genies, flying carpets, magic lamps, Middle East Mystique and
music. And watch out for those water-spewing camels - they spit!

over the top of Spaceship Earth was changed to 'EPCOT' early in 2001
- Walt Disney World Resort - Starting
on December 5, 2001, The 100 Years of Magic at Walt Disney World honors the
100th Anniversary of Walt Disney's birth with a 15-month long celebration
including all-new parades at all four parks, a new 12-story tall icon of the
Sorcerer Mickey hat and new special merchandise including Disney's Magical
Moments pins.

- Effective November 3rd, 2001 this resort is closing, all guest with prior
reservations are being booked into other 'Moderate' Resorts. No word on if
this is just rehab or is going to be permanent.
